Baby's Faith Grand Arrival

This is my birth story I would like to share with everyone :)

I remembered on the 1st of Feb, I went to the toilet and got my first bloody show.  I thought to myself that it could be anytime now, so I just remain calm and go back to bed. The next morning around 9:30am, I got my second bloody show. I wake hubby up and told him about it. He jump out of bed and ask if I feel any pain. Just seeing him jumping out of bed was so hilarious :) since there was no pain, we decided to wait and see if there is any progress to labor.

On the 2nd of Feb, around 1am, my mucous plug was released. At first I thought my water broke, so decided to do some research online but then found out that the liquid was just the mucous plug. That day around 5am, I had my first diarrhea-like menstrual cramp. We decided to pay my obgyn a visit. My Obgyn did a VE for me and told me that I am just 1cm dilated. So we went back home.  Nothing much happen after that.

The real labor kick in on the 6th of feb. It was 4:20am in the morning, I was awoken by a tremendous cramp in my lower back. It came so strongly from my back and slowly to my abdomen area. I knew there and then, this is it, my baby girl is coming anytime now. I waited to see how far apart my contractions were and it was 7 minutes apart. That's where I called my hubby who is working in KL as I was in Malacca. I told him to travel down NOW as baby will be arriving very soon. After putting down the phone, I lie on my back and just breathe through the contractions. My mom woke up about 6am and asked if I was okie. She said she dream that the baby has arrived and I told her Yes, she is coming anytime now:) My mom was surprise and excited at the same time. She went downstairs to make some breakfast for us while I hit the shower to have a nice hot bath. I remembered that I keep leaning in my bathroom wall as the contraction and back labour was so intense. I kept doing some belly dancing and just praying under my breath. Not forgetting trying to breathe through those contractions.

After shower, I went down to have my breakfast. Mom then sent me to the hospital. When we were in the car, I kept looking at the clock and realize that my contractions were just 2 minutes apart!! Each contractions lasted for 1 and 1/2 min. I kept meditating upon prayer and saying under my breath- His grace is more than sufficient for me. I also kept visualize baby's face to keep me calm and just to focus on her arrival.

Arrived in the hospital around 7.30am and the nurses wanted to weigh me on the scale. After that they checked me into a one bedded ward. The head nurse came in and engaged me to a fetal monitor. She then did a VE and said my contractions are going on really good. She then asked another nurse to push me straight into the labor ward. That time I was panicked thinking if my husband would make it on time, and there he was entering the ward and I sigh with relieved:) After they pushed me to the labor room, the doctor arrived and did another VE on me. She said, Merilyn, you are fully dilated!! I was shocked and didn't know it could be that fast and I immediately scream I WANT TO PUSH NOW!! She gave me the green light and boy you got no idea how I use all my strength to push. It didn't take too long and baby Faith arrive to our world at 8:39am :D she make her entrance with a loud cry:) she weighs 3.0kg. The doctor immediately placed her on my chest and just seeing her really makes every pain disappear :) hubby cut the umbilical cord and the peads came and took her for further examination. She is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. After the doctor stitch me up, My hubby whisper to my ear:- I am so proud of you. That day was certainly the best day of my life!! Am just so thankful for this beautiful gift that God has given me :D

Beit Adonai Ballet and Performing Arts :)

Well, I did promised to post up the finalize copy of my business card and here it goes..................................................

Front print

Back Print

Some of you might be wondering what is the meaning of Beit Adonai. It is the most common word for the temple in the Bible - House of the Lord. I have always wanted my company name to be Beit Adonai as I believe that there is no better place to dance than dancing in the presence of the Lord. My vision is to serve the Lord through dancing and convey the message of Christ through worship.

Psalms 149:3 - Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre!

Psalms 150 -

1 Praise the LORD!

   Praise God in His sanctuary;
   Praise Him in His mighty firmament!

2 Praise Him for His mighty acts;
   Praise Him according to His excellent greatness

3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
   Praise Him with the lute and harp!

4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
   Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!

5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
   Praise Him with clashing cymbals!

6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.

         Praise the LORD!!!!!!! :D:D:D

My First Attempt of my own Business Card :)

So it has been some time since I write a post. For the past few days, I have been preety busy designing my business card :) It was really exciting as I have so much idea at first, but then I realize that there is not much space in a business card to fit all my ideas inside. Finally, after cracking my creative side of my brain, I have already accomplished the design :) Yippie :)

HERE IT IS !!

P/S:  Btw, The wording underneath the ballerina are all suppose to be at the back of the card :)

I  did sent the design for some colour editing and printing last 2 days and hopefully the original copy will come out preety preety soon.  So do keep yourself updated to see the Finished copy :) At the mean time, if you are reading this, do spread the word of my service to any angel out there who has a great passion in dance . Thanks :) Till here for now, Adios :)

I am the Noodle Queen :)

Noodles are indeed my favourite. I can eat them day and night and still not get jelak with it :) My favourites are Claypot Yee Mee, Pan Mee, Tom Yam Bee Hoon, Shake head One Ton Mee, Maggie goreng, korean spicy mushroom noodles, fishball mee, Cream Mushroom Spaghetti, Carbonara Spaghetti, Laksa bee hoon mee, Fry kuey tiau mee, etc etc

Today without realizing, I had noodles for all 3 meals. I had one ton mee for brunch, then tom yam noodles for lunch/tea time and Sean fried mee for me with fish paste and bendi for dinner/supper :) Now tum tum feels so satisfied but I think I need some serious dieting before Chinese New Year arrived. I keep picturing myself being ...........................................................

 Puss in Boots

Just love the contrast of the fatty cute cat with that little tiny mouse. I am sure they make one heck of a good friend :)

A day of fun

So today, Sean and I decided that we should go for bowling since it is our day off. It has been for ages since we bowled. Ohhh but to remember clearly, we did bowled a few weeks back but it was through my BidFun Wii :) Not to mention I was a pro when bowling with the Wii as I scored strike most of the time :) hahahahahahaha

So I was preety confident today thinking that it would be the same. Trying to act macho lar,k hahaha...Unfortunately, I was so wrong. Given my petite size, the bowling ball seems to be heavier than me. I took for about 10 minutes choosing the right weight for my ball :) The lightest bowling ball number seems to be 6 but I still think that it cost like 50kg. hahaha. Don't worry I did not use both hands and roll the ball down the aisle :) After doing a few stretches, I finally decided that number 6 is the right weight for me :D:D:D

So we started playing. It was preety fun at first because I was winning :) wahahahahahah...Then at the middle of the game, I went slacko. Sean and I was kidding with each other that maybe our Teddy named Brownie was hiding at the aisle blowing my ball down the drain.  It was hilarious. Then at the end of the game, my power came back but it was not enough to be the winner of the day. As for Sean, he was slacko at the beginning of the game. Until almost the end, he catch up really quickly and was crowned bowling champion of the day :) Bravo Bravo :D

Hopefully our arms don't get sore tomorrow. My fingernail did broke though. wahahahah It was indeed a fun day.

Tomorrow another day of work. Yippie. I love my job :D

Sweetheart's Sean Birthday

Happy Birthday to my dearest Sweetheart - Sean Wee

Today was another lovely day. It is Sean's birthday as you could see from my super huge title :) Anyway, this is his 3rd celebration since his family celebrated for him on Monday and my family celebrated for him on Tuesday. So it is my turn to celebrate with him today ( The Official Date ) wuhuuuu :)

It was after his night shift, so he needs to have his beauty rest in the morning. About 1pm, he sent me to Tropicana City Mall as I have an appointment with a lady named Malin who offered me another teaching job with a super duper good salary. Praise be to our Lord :) She also taught me some business skills and knowledge that I need to know in order to build my own studio in the future. She belanja me a cup of Chocolate Cream Chip. It was yummilicious.

Later Sean and I went to the Curve and Ikano for some jalan jalan and cari makan. We wanted to watch a movie at the theater but then I was wearing sleeveless and do not have a jacket with me. Although he wanted to watch Mission Impossible badly, the sensitive and caring person that he is decided to do something else as he do not wants me to freeze in the theater :) Super sweet right :)

So we just walked around and spended some quality time with each other.

For dinner, I thought of bringing him to Tony Romas as he loved Tony Romas so much.  However because he knows I am not a meat person, so we ended up in Sushi King which he also enjoyed, I wouldnt lie :p We ordered a plate of ebiko sushi ( My super favourite ) and 2 set meals. It was so yummilicious :)

P/S: Please don't salivate watching my pictures,k :p

Although we did not celebrate in a 5-star hotel or have massive surprises on this day, we both had a really fabulous time together as we believe that it is not the material or location that matters, but it is the bond and company that we both have that makes the day even more special.

Thanks for being the best boyfriend anyone could wish for.

YOU ARE INDEED AMAZING

May God continue to bless your heart in everything you do. May His Love, Favour, Peace, Joy, Grace, Mercy, Wisdom goes with you every second, minute and hour of your life.

Love you always, muakssssssssssssssssssss

Coconut Flower

This morning I was sleeping so soundly and my phone rang...At that point of time, you were too tired to pick up the phone and drift off back to sleep. Then you dream your phone rang again, except it is not in your dream. So I drag myself up and answer the phone. The other line said, MEM WE ARE ON THE WAY UP TO KL NOW TO EAT KLANG SEAFOOD :) It was my Mom. Mom, bro and gf were coming up for a one day visitation + Celebrate Sean's early birthday and Makan Makan Makan :D I jumped out of the bed 'lazily' having a mix feeling of 'Yay!! Klang Seafood!!' and 'boo hoo, i want to go back to bed'. At last, I decided to go with the former :)

After 2 hours, they arrived and picked Sean and myself. So we headed off to Telok Gong Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant. We ordered a few yummilicious dishes.  We had 1kg of crab, steam lala, butter prawn mantis, lala bee hoon, soup and todi :) It all came up to Rm100. Preety good huh :)

Kam Hiong Crab

Steam Lala

Lai Yu Ha

Lala Bee Hoon

My family are the Seafood King, so normally when they come up to KL, this is definitely the place we fill our belly :)

During our makan, an ang mo lady called me on the phone and offered me another ballet teaching job which has a really really favourable salary. Apparently one of my friend, Carene, introduced me to this lady and told her that I am a Ballet Teacher as well. I Will be meeting up with her tomorrow to discuss the further details. Thanks Carene for recommending me :) I appreciate it very much :)
I could see God lining everything up so perfectly well for me and I believe that 2012 will be great. God's provision for me is remarkably amazing.  All glory to the Lord most high.

After that we went back to rest as Sean and I are working at night. I ended my evening doing something that I am passionate about - Teaching Ballet. First class of the New Year and I gave my students an impromptu trial exam. Am definitely proud of each and everyone of them. Although there are still room for improvement, I believe.......................

IN GOD WE CAN :D

Keep working hard girls, and you will be beautifully graceful and wise during your exam :) Jia You Jia You !!
